Introduction

Annual Report of I+D+i (Research, Development and Innovation) and Transfer of the University of Oviedo

The dynamic Research Report accounts for the results of the investigative and transfer activities of the University of Oviedo in annual periods from 2008.

Through this application the traditional research report turns into a web application, which is always accessible for reference and continuous update. This application has been designed so that it updates automatically by using the existing information on institutional databases and on any information sources available to the University of Oviedo.

The data on this report start in 2008 and are regularly updated. This application enables information search and proposals for the correction or addition of data. Sending new data will be used to polish or purge databases on information origin available on the institution and, subsequently, on the report.

The different functional units that constitute the Vice-Chancellorship for Research with support from the Vice-Chancellorship for IT and communications of the University of Oviedo have cooperated on the preparation of this Research Report.

The University of Oviedo Library (BUO) is the responsible unit for tracking down, maintaining and validating data of Scientific Production (articles, books, PhD. Dissertations)and pre-research activities (end of degree projects, first degree dissertations and research seminars). The Office for Research Results Transfer (OTRI) is responsible for tracking down, maintaining and validating data of intellectual property (patents, software registrations or utility models).

The Research Service (SI) and the University of Oviedo Foundation (FUO) are responsible for maintaining and validating data related to human resources of research and economic resources (Projects, Technology Transfer Contracts and Subsidies).
